PraxisAuril volunteer Board and Committees are populated by expert knowledge exchange and technology transfer practitioners who are passionate about sharing best practice to shape the profession.
The enthusiasm and energy of these expert practitioners, supported by PraxisAuril's office team, drives and informs a broad range of activities in policy, training and conference programme development.
PraxisAuril encourages volunteer engagement from across its membership, including experienced practitioners with a significant track record as well as relative newcomers. Members interested in volunteering will usually have attended PraxisAuril training and conference events and will be RTTP qualified, or in the process of qualifying.
With practical training and support provided, volunteering at PraxisAuril is a fantastic opportunity for personal professional development and profile-raising while making a real contribution to the sector.
“I find it rewarding to inspire members of our profession to bigger and better things; PraxisAuril's training courses enable people at various stages in their careers to learn new skills and expertise to deliver their aspirations. Working with such a broad variety of volunteer and attendee colleagues gives me a broader, wiser perspective on the issues facing our sector on a daily basis.”
Iain Thomas, Head of Life Sciences team at Cambridge Enterprise and formerly Chair of the PraxisAuril Training Committee
"I really enjoy interacting with all of the people on the conference committee who come from a wide variety of different organisations. This also means that I have a great network of peers that I can call on if I need advice or to sense check anything. It is also great to see all of the hard work that goes into the conference coming together and providing a fantastic experience for the delegates."
Angela Kukula, Director of Enterprise at The Institute of Cancer Research, London, and formerly the Chair of PraxisAuril
Members of the PraxisAuril community are invited to contact the PraxisAuril office throughout the year to find out more about getting involved. Information about specific current or upcoming opportunities will be promoted on this website, at PraxisAuril events, via the PraxisAuril Directors’ Jisclist and in advance of the AGM.
Our trainers also volunteer their time to support us, and we welcome enquiries of this nature also. Become a PraxisAuril Trainer.
