Impact Facilitator (Fixed Term): University of Cambridge

We are seeking a highly motivated Impact Facilitator to join the Bioscience Impact Team within the Research Operations Office. The successful candidate will manage an exciting and diverse portfolio of activities to encourage, initiate and support research impact across the School of the Biological Sciences.

The role requires managing a range of internal and external relationships, taking ownership of internal funding schemes, keeping to tight deadlines and working effectively with a broad group of stakeholders.

The Bioscience Impact Team works closely with academics and other research staff across all departments and institutes of the School of the Biological Sciences to maximise the non-academic impact achieved from their research. This involves acquiring and administering impact-specific funding (such as our BBSRC Impact Acceleration Account), assisting with industry relationships, navigating translational funding options, providing relevant training to young researchers, and organising related events.

The role-holder will be expected to deputise for the Head of Team, as appropriate.

The funds for this post are available until 31 July 2021 in the first instance.
