Dean of Research and Knowledge Exchange: Norwich University of the Arts

NUA is seeking a senior leader to develop and deliver an ambitious research and knowledge exchange strategy, which focuses on the role of creativity in recognising and addressing global challenges.

The successful candidate will develop a broad, ambitious and distinctive vision for the contribution of research and knowledge exchange to delivery of core institutional objectives, catalysing new areas of activity, embracing new partnerships, engaging with national government priorities and addressing global challenges, whilst maintaining and developing the University's commitment to the city and region.

Experience in an arts-based institution is not a pre-requisite. However, candidates should be able to demonstrate significant leadership experience in delivering both research and knowledge exchange programmes, including successful multi-partner large-scale bid development and delivery.

In choosing to work at NUA you will join a community of creative academics, technicians and professional experts who are committed to delivering exceptional creative arts education, research and knowledge exchange. You will work in a stimulating and critically engaged workplace, where the creativity of all out students will develop because of your commitment.

We celebrate diversity and believe it to be at the core of any creative endeavour. Whatever your background, identity and prior experience, wherever you are from, we want you to bring your whole self to work each day, in an environment that recognises your unique contribution.
