There is increasing importance in supporting academic staff to create impact through knowledge exchange activities. This is emphasised with the introduction of the Knowledge Exchange Framework (KEF) and KE Concordat (KEC) programmes, which aim to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of Knowledge Exchange activities through comparative metrics, building capacity and putting KE in the context of institutional mission.
Having an overview of the policy drivers, academic motivations and modes of Knowledge Exchange are essential in supporting academics to increase impact and diversify income streams. This course will introduce you to that context and set out the different interactions that can be undertaken to support academic staff to deliver their impact through Knowledge Exchange opportunities.
