2019 Conference Aims
For our 2018 Autumn Conference in Liverpool, we introduced new member-led breakout sessions. They proved so successful that we will be adopting the same format for our 2019 Annual Conference. The conference will incorporate a wide variety of topics representing the diversity of our community and promises to be our biggest and most connected event ever. Conference aims include:
Promoting UK capabilities in international collaboration
Promoting professional development in knowledge exchange
Engaging industry in PraxisAuril and member activities
Connecting KE professionals together to build networks
Conference Programme Committee
A volunteer Committee will work with the PraxisAuril team to develop the conference programme; we are delighted to announce Amanda Selvaratnam as Chair of the Conference Programme Committee for the event!
Amanda Selvaratnam, Director of Enterprise Services, University of York
Following a scientific career in research and industry, Amanda moved into business intelligence with GlaxoSmithKline prior to joining the University of York in 1999. Amanda is responsible for the engagement of the University with business with a special focus on the development and delivery of professional development and executive education courses.;
Amanda is also the Founder and Director of the Training Gateway, an organisation that supports UK training and education organisations to win training and education contracts and develop partnerships overseas.
The Knowledge Exchange Awards
We are very pleased to announce that we will be relaunching the Impact Awards at the Conference with a new look and feel - the Knowledge Exchange awards will open for entries in 2019, keep a look out for more details! Get a little flavour of the awards, by seeing the 2016 Impact Awards.
