PraxisAuril Board Election - Members Only
Dear PraxisAuril friends and colleagues,
We have an exciting time ahead at PraxisAuril as we exploit digital channels, develop our offering in response to the changing needs of the many differing segments of the KE community and seek to grow our wonderful and committed volunteer base. We are keen to have as broad a group of people as possible participating as volunteer trainers, board members, conference contributors and much more. I hope you consider getting involved in a way that interests and suits you.
We have three board director positions coming up as part of our regular rotation of Directors. The PraxisAuril Board is a collaborative, considered and supportive team that welcomes discourse, new ideas, challenge and independent thought. I hope that you will consider putting yourself forward for one of these positions or encourage one of your colleagues to do so; we actively encourage applications for the elected post from individuals who may be looking for their first Board position.
PraxisAuril recruits to the Board through two routes: an appointment and an election process. This is to ensure the Board is representative of a range of professional experience, geographies, organisational contexts and personal perspectives.
From 1 April 2021, the vacancies are:
1 PraxisAuril Board Director (2 year term) - elected by the members
1 PraxisAuril Board Director (4 year term/ KE practitioner) – appointed by the Board
1 PraxisAuril Board Director (4 year term/ stakeholder representative) – appointed by the Board
Please find attached information about the PraxisAuril Board and the process and schedule for the 2021 election including how you can either stand for election yourself, or make a nomination and vote for one of your peers. The successful, member-elected, candidate will commence a two-year term on 1 April 2021.
The Appointments Sub-Committee of the Board will consider direct applications for the 4-year posts at a meeting to be held week commencing 15th March 2021. Please ensure that applications for these posts are submitted by 9am on Thursday 4th March 2021.
Please share the attached papers and this message widely. I would be very pleased to answer any further questions you may have.
