The Knowledge Exchange Team at Cranfield University would like to invite you to join the Knowledge Exchange Best Practice Group. This Group has been established to provide a forum where KE practitioners in higher education have an opportunity to discuss best practice, gain insights and updates on the KE landscape and build a support network. This member-led initiative provides another opportunity for PraxisAuril members to get-together and share day-to-day work experiences and expertise.
The focus of the first meeting will be the Knowledge Exchange Framework (KEF). This will be an excellent opportunity to find out how other institutions are preparing for the KEF, hear from Research England and PraxisAuril and their perspectives on the framework and, once implemented, how others plan to manage the framework.
The first meeting will take place on Tuesday, 18 June 2019 from 10:00 – 13:00 at the University of London, Senate House (Montague Room; Malet Street, London, WC1E 7HU). We will have Hamish McAlpine, Head of KE Data and Evidence, Research England as a guest speaker to provide an update on the KEF. Tamsin Mann, Head of Policy, PraxisAuril will also be joining us to speak about the KEF and what it means for KE professionals. Hamish and Tamsin will also participate in a Q&A session following the discussions; please find a full agenda below.
Lunch will be provided alongside a chance to network with colleagues from other institutions. To confirm your attendance, please email Kala Kennedy, Knowledge Exchange Facilitator (email@example.com) by Friday, 7th June 2019 indicating any dietary requirements. Registration will be on a first come, first serve basis as space is limited; if there is a high level of interest, attendance will be limited to one attendee per institution.
Please feel free to share this opportunity with other KE colleagues in your institutions – we look forward to seeing you there!
