Summer Reflections: Preparing for a New Era at PraxisAuril

As the summer draws to a close, the academic year approaches again and a new Government starts to tackle their national missions, we at PraxisAuril have been actively engaged in various initiatives, including:

  • Discussing with colleagues in Business and Government the future of challenge-driven partnerships thanks to the convening of Tomas Coates Ulrichsen and the Policy evidence unit for Commercialisation and Innovation.

  • Comparing approaches to enabling Social Innovation with Colleagues in the US and Canada.

  • Thinking about knowledge exchange in the context of University Leadership with the British Academy of Management.

Simultaneously, we have been preparing for several upcoming initiatives, including:

  • Our Annual General Meeting (AGM), on Wednesday 25th September, where we will review the past year and look ahead to what's coming in the next.

This year will also mark an exciting transition as the spirit and values of PraxisAuril re-emerge under our new identity, Knowledge Exchange UK. This change will allow us to further enhance the visibility and impact of the remarkable work done by our knowledge exchange practitioners. In the context of today's political and economic climate, where research-driven innovation plays a critical role in shaping society and the economy, our mission remains more vital than ever.
