PraxisAuril: Practicalities – Training and Events

As we move into the sixth week of social distancing measures, public attention is focussing more and more on how the country can get back to as near ‘normal’ as possible, both economically and as individuals. Whilst we expect that social distancing measures and group size restrictions at meetings and events will be in place for some time yet, at PraxisAuril we continue to plan for a resumption of F2F training courses, whilst also developing more digital programmes.

Our F2F training courses, once opened for registrations, can be booked through the website in the normal manner. Much of what we will be offering digitally will also use the normal booking process through our website. Keep an eye on the site and look out for communications from us, which will provide further information as it becomes available. Another way to keep informed about what PraxisAuril can offer you, both individually and as an organisation, is to register your specific interests using this link.

We continue to monitor government advice and guidance and will be rescheduling the postponed Fundamentals of Technology Transfer, Practical Licensing and New Venture Creation 2 courses as soon as is practically possible. The government is in control of the decision to allow meeting venues to re-open and the health and safety processes that will need to be in place for them to do so.  We are reassured that the meeting venues PrA uses will have all the recommended additional measures in place necessary to ensure a safe environment for delegates.

For those of you that had booked to attend any or all of these training courses, we will keep the credit on your account and ensure you have a place reserved on the next available iteration of the course. This also applies to the 2020 conference, which has been postponed until 1st-3rd June 2021 in Brighton at the same venue. We are pleased to advise that many of our 2020 sponsors have already confirmed their support and attendance at Brighton 2021.

We do appreciate that some of you may not be able to make the dates of the new courses, or conference, and if this is the case then we can, of course, refund the registration fee to the same bank account from which payment was made. Should you wish us to refund the fee and cancel your reservation(s), please advise full bank details of the account into which the refund should be made to payments@praxisauril.org.uk by 8th May.

Our events manager, Julie Coombes, and event coordinator, Rachel Carter, remain on hand to answer any questions you may have. You can reach them by email using training@praxisauril.org.uk.

The PraxisAuril team very much look forward to welcoming you to one of our events in the future, be that digitally or face to face.
With kindest regards.
