The University of Nottingham is seeking an individual with experience and understanding of university knowledge exchange to manage the University’s on-line Knowledge Exchange Hub, a resource for the academic community on all things KE-related, and to develop, co-ordinate and manage activities supporting KE training and development for the academic community. This includes the formulation and co-ordination of KE training programmes, on-line content for the KE Hub and the support for KE-related events and networks.
Candidates will be educated to degree level and ideally hold a postgraduate qualification in a STEM discipline or considerable experience of working in a STEM research environment and have teaching or training experience from a relevant context. Individuals will need to be creative and innovative self-starters with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.
The incumbent will be based in the Technology Transfer Office but will have a close working relationship with colleagues in the Researcher Academy, which is responsible for delivering research-based training and development to the academic community.
The outputs of the Nottingham Impact Accelerator are expected to make a significant contribution to the University’s standing in the Research Excellence Framework (REF), the Knowledge Exchange Framework and institutional HEIF allocation as well as benefitting the University reputationally and increasing KE- income from industrial engagement and IP-related activities.
