Job summary

Are you an experienced Project Finance Officer who can expertly manage a portfolio of consultancy projects?  If so, we are looking for two Senior Project Finance Officers to join our team of Senior Project Finance Officers to support the delivery of consultancy projects that are managed via Imperial Consultants (Enterprise Division).

Duties and responsibilities

You will be responsible for the appropriate project management, administration and reporting associated with the delivery of a wide range of projects. You will provide high quality support to internal consultants and external clients, and to the teams across the company. You will be responsible for providing the efficient and effective financial administration, and the maintenance of accurate records of these projects.

You will take a proactive approach to managing the portfolio of projects that you will be responsible for. This includes:

  • developing good working relationships with the consultants
  • monitoring progress against financial and reporting deliverables
  • acting as a source of expertise and advice to consultants
  • assisting consultants with project administration associated with the delivery of their projects.

Essential requirements

The ability to be flexible in managing a large portfolio of projects and a variety of tasks simultaneously is an essential part of the role.  You will support the Finance Manager in the preparation and facilitation of audit administration.

You will also play a key role in assisting in the smooth running of internal project processes across the team.

The role will include working with key academic staff as well as representatives from client/customer organisations, so strong interpersonal and communication skills are critical.
