Senior Partnership and Innovation Manager

We are seeking an enthusiastic Senior Partnership and Innovation Manager to form a part of a team that supports knowledge exchange, innovation, and partnership development to help the institution achieve its strategic ambitions as outlined in Strategy 2026.

 

In this role you will ensure the University has a pipeline of ambitious projects and established networks of collaborative partnerships to help bring in research income and realise research impact. The role is varied, from providing support and guidance on knowledge exchange to supporting our university research themes to shape KE strategy and project managing major KE funding bids which are co-created with external partners. You will be expected to work independently with senior academics and external partners to advise on policy drivers and links across the institution and beyond, to create and strengthen networks that realise impact and increase activity through additional translational research income.

 

You will have a Degree, ideally but not necessarily in a STEM area, and relevant Business Development experience in a University environment or relevant professional experience. You will be a self-starter, strategic thinker, diplomatic and flexible to the rapidly evolving calls and be able to respond effectively to short deadlines. The post is available until 31 July 2025, subject to funding.
