The Faculty of Business and Law are looking to recruit a strong operational manager to support the Head of Partnerships in leading and managing the Research, Enterprise and Scholarship team.
The team overall are responsible for the Faculty’s income generation activity by assisting academics and other faculty staff in developing and maintaining relationships with funders, partners and other relevant bodies primarily for research, scholarship and consultancy purposes.
This role will take an operational lead in managing a busy team of around 6 people, who work closely with academics across the faculty on funding applications, bidding pipelines and scholarship projects.
Skills and experience
This role would suit an individual who has strong operational and project management skills with previous experience of managing and motivating a multi discipline, fast paced team.
There will be opportunity to work closely with the Head of Partnerships to learn the processes and detail around income generation and bidding activity. You would suit this role if you have had previous experience of translating strategy and policy into operational plans and enjoy working with a range of stakeholders building internal and external networks.
