The role

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join the Research, Enterprise and Scholarship team with The Faculty of Business and Law.

The team overall are responsible for the Faculty’s income generation activity by assisting academics and other faculty staff in developing and maintaining relationships with funders, partners and other relevant bodies primarily for research, scholarship and consultancy purposes.

This role will take an operational lead in managing a busy team of around 5 people, supporting with formulation and implementation of related strategy, including the Research Excellence Framework activities, as well as working closely with academics across the faculty on funding applications and bidding pipelines.

Are you an effective influencer with strong financial skills who can build relationships and networks across boundaries?

Previous line management experience with a passion for leading, motivating and managing a busy team is an essential requirement for this role. Although previous experience in a business development or income generation team could be beneficial for this role, applicants from other team environments would also be welcome for this post.
