JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Medipex provides a range of innovation services, principally to the NHS, associated with the dissemination and exploitation of Intellectual Property (IP) in Medtech and Healthcare. There is also a growing aspect of the business that provides similar expertise to healthcare companies and universities that are looking to develop innovative technologies for the health service. Medipex has a core of highly experienced staff and it now has a vacancy for a Senior Innovation Manager to join the team.
The successful candidate should be educated to honours degree, or higher degree, level (or be able to demonstrate equivalent experience) in the biosciences, health sciences or a related subject; should be able to demonstrate a track record of delivering successful innovation projects, management of intellectual property and contractual issues, and hands-on experience of commercialisation processes; should have a good knowledge in the use of IT and have good oral and written communication skills; have a proven track record in delivering results and achieving targets in their career to date and have the ability to adopt a sales and customer service approach to work, demonstrating how they can add value to the existing team.
We offer a contributory pension scheme, 25 days annual leave entitlement plus 7 Medipex closure days and 8 statutory public holidays. Travel expenses are paid monthly with the salary into the individual’s bank account.
This post will involve some travel within the UK therefore a driving licence is essential and own car would be preferable.
