We are recruiting for a Senior Enterprise and Innovation Manager to join the Enterprise and Innovation Department which sits within the Joint Research and Enterprise Services. The department is uniquely placed across two organisations, St George’s University and St George’s NHS Trust and supports, manages and facilitates innovation and enterprise across the two sites.

Salary: £41,56 to £49,553 plus London Allowance of £3,147 (Permanent, full time position)

We have ambition plans to grow innovation and knowledge exchange activity across the University and Trust over the next 3 years. This post will play a key role in realising this ambition. The postholder will be responsible for the management of commercialisation projects ranging from complex licence agreements to support of spin-out companies originating from IP generated across the two sites. This will involve identifying collaboration and commercial opportunities, negotiating commercial agreements and fostering a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship within the research community

Key attributes of the successful applicant include:

  • Background in biomed or MedTech with experience of working with start-up businesses
  • Highly effective written and oral communicator
  • High level of prioritisation and organisation to manage a high volume of work and priorities effectively
  • Pragmatic and a self-starter
