We are looking for a Senior Contracts Manager to join the Legal Governance and Compliance team (also known as LGC) and help the Crick to deliver its scientific strategy in compliance with legal, charitable and regulatory requirements. LGC is high-performing full-service function responsible for contractual, legal, regulatory, data protection and company secretarial matters and led by the Crick's General Counsel and Company Secretary.
The work is really diverse and stimulating, reflecting the many different working relationships that the Crick has with its founding partners and with other commercial, philanthropic and academic research organisations.
You will lead the design and delivery of an efficient contracting service that offers effective assessment, drafting and negotiation of a wide range of commercial and science contracts in line with internal policies, good governance, best practice and applicable legislation. You will work with colleagues in the operations and science communities providing expert transactional support and advice across commercial and research areas and establishing best practice and new ways of working.
You work well in a fast-paced environment and are confident working with highly influential external and internal contacts.
