Senior Business & Innovation Manager – UCL Translational Research Office (TRO)


The Translational Research Office (TRO) Business and Innovation Group (BIG) have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Business and Innovation Manager, to join our growing team and drive the expansion of a unique advisory proposition aligned to the needs and aspirations of our academic community, associated NIHR Biomedical Research Centres (BRCs) and corporate partners. Our team enhance the translation of biomedical research at UCL by cultivating high impact partnerships and supporting strategic collaborations between our academics and businesses in the Life Sciences and Healthcare sector.



Increasingly, opportunities to maximise health data assets for AI development and wider emerging technical applications are becoming a key focus within the community we serve. Working closely with multiple stakeholders, including patient-centred organisations, the individual will be responsible for driving a strategic approach to realise the impact of a coordinated set of AI and Data initiatives across the university and our partner hospitals.


Key Requirements:

A successful offer holder for this position will bring with them a broad understanding and experience in the utility of Data Science and AI application towards healthcare reform. An innovative thinker with well-developed leadership, interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills are essential.
