Salary (inclusive of London allowance)£28,574 - £33,487 per annum
Salary pro-rata for part time vacancies


Duties and Responsibilities

The post holder will provide support to the IGP team on grant and funding administration, research and consultancy activity and general management of research projects at the Institute as well as on promoting collaborations between disciplines, external partners and industry. This includes the IGP’s Knowledge Networks, involving activities such as researching information, assisting with grant applications, proof-reading articles and organising meetings and events.In addition, the post holder will work closely with the IGP Communications team to provide proactive support for institutional communications, marketing and events with regards to research, including the maintenance and development of the Institution’s digital communications channels, the production and graphic design of basic digital assets, and the development and support of events.



Given the nature of the post, there may be some requirement for out-of-hours working to support specific events and activities carried out by the IGP.



Key Requirements

Experience of supporting research, ideally in a higher education environment, including proposal development, financial administration and costing / pricing of funding applications.
Professional, detail-oriented and proactive approach with excellent organisational skills and an ability to prioritise and organise own work.
Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office. 
Commitment to research agenda and activities of the IGP.
