Research Grants Facilitator

About the Role

The Research Grants Facilitator will work within the Research Grants Team and report to the Research Development Manager. They will be a port of call for public funding opportunities for the organisation and academic community, with a focus on delivering pre-award support for external grant funding applications across the whole development pathway for all forms of research funding. The Research Grants Facilitator will also represent the University when dealing with external funding bodies and professional organisations.

About You

We are looking for an experienced bid developer who understands the current research funding environment within the UK Higher Education sector. You will be educated to degree level or equivalent and have previous experience (at least 2 years) of working in a similar role. You will be able to build relationships at all levels, working systematically and with good attention to detail. It is essential that you have excellent oral and written communication skills including writing, editing and presentation skills and the ability to convey complex information clearly to a range of audiences.
