We’re looking for an individual with proven track-record to work alongside our Schools and academics in this key strategic position.  Educated to degree level or equivalent, with proven relevant experience in an equivalent role in Higher Education, together with a strong knowledge of UK and EU research funding programmes, you will work with senior researchers in identifying and securing research funding opportunities, both in the UK and internationally.

You will provide strategic advice and proactively manage the development and submission of large complex proposals coordinating inputs across a large number of stakeholders that will lead to the submission of high-quality bids.  You will work closely with Faculties to contribute to the development of peer review systems and other initiatives, that will increase the quality of our bids and our success rates. 

With a proven track-record of making things happen, you will develop relationships with key funders to gain the intelligence that will inform the development of successful bids.  Astute and highly-motivated, you will aim to increase both the breadth and value and frequency of our bid portfolio and play a key role in maintaining our track record in securing research funding.
