Research Development Manager (Computing & Engineering)

The Research, Innovation and Knowledge Exchange service at the University of Huddersfield is looking for an experienced and versatile team member to help support the academic community in securing funding to support our growing research and innovation agenda. 

As one of a team of Research Development Managers, the postholder will be focussed on supporting the academic community in the School of Computing and Engineering.  The School has a large portfolio of research grants and contracts, including significant EPSRC and Innovate UK funding streams.  Ambitious targets for continued growth make this role critical and the postholder will work closely alongside established research and business development support teams to help realise the School’s future vision. 

Given the nature of the role, the successful candidate will have a track record in writing and/or contributing to successful funding applications, and will have a degree or equivalent in a STEM discipline area.
