The role will support the Faculty’s income generation activity by assisting academics and other Faculty staff in developing and maintaining links with faculties and units, universities, funders and various industry sectors primarily for research, scholarship and consultancy purposes. The role will explore opportunities and identify gaps which could be developed to improve Faculty Research, Enterprise and Scholarship activity and income.
This role will provide first class account management for research, scholarship, teaching and consultancy funding activity, including applications and pre and post-award administration. The role will also provide support with impact case studies and impact evidence collection in preparation for REF 2021 and beyond.
Skills and Experience
You will have previous operational management and administration experience with a proactive service driven approach. You will be able to demonstrate previous experience of managing key internal and external stakeholder relationships.
You will also be comfortable working with budgets and have proven analytical skills with the ability to interpret and communicate information effectively.
A Post-Doctoral graduate seeking a career in research support could also be a good fit for this role.
