This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated public engagement professional to join a University that is proud of its commitment to engaging with the public. As part of the Research and Impact Strategy Department, you will support the ongoing development, implementation and evaluation of our institutional strategy for public engagement with research, in order to embed and sustain an effective and innovative culture of engagement.
You should have a degree (or equivalent qualification or relevant professional experience); experience of working closely with researchers to plan, deliver and evaluate engagement activities and events for the public and of designing and implementing a widespread programme of training; and excellent communication, interpersonal, organisational and analytical skills. The post is available until 31 July 2025 in the first instance (subject to funding).
