Do you want to work for a world top 100 University? Would you like to make a real impact on the UK wide adoption of Internet of Things technologies? We have an exciting opportunity in the Partnerships & Regional Engagement team for someone with a passion for Knowledge Exchange and skills in project management.
The University of Sheffield has been awarded £4.9m million by Research England’s Connecting Capability Fund (CCF) to fund Pitch-In (Promoting the Internet of Things via Collaborations between HEIs & Industry). The CCF programme aims to share good practice in Knowledge Exchange across the higher education sector, forge external partnerships, and deliver the Government’s industrial strategy priorities.
We are looking for someone with an excellent track record of effective project management, the ability to overcome barriers to knowledge exchange, and the skills to communicate and engage effectively with a broad range of stakeholders.
You will sit within the Partnerships and Regional Engagement team (www.sheffield.ac.uk/pre) which plays a central role in the delivery of knowledge exchange partnerships, regional engagement and Vice-Chancellor led-collaborations throughout the University. This is a challenging opportunity to take a leadership role in this pioneering, flagship Knowledge Exchange project of national significance.
We’re one of the best not-for-profit organisations to work for in the UK. The University’s Total Reward Package includes a competitive salary, a generous Pension Scheme and annual leave entitlement, as well as access to a range of learning and development courses to support your personal and professional development.
We build teams of people from different heritages and lifestyles from across the world, whose talent and contributions complement each other to greatest effect. We believe diversity in all its forms delivers greater impact through research, teaching and student experience.
