Leeds has been at the forefront of digital pathology research and innovation for over 15 years. A new £17m initiative funded by the Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund, the Northern Pathology Imaging Co-operative (NPIC), builds on that advanced starting position, uniting a consortium of academic, clinical and industry partners with a common vision - to create a world-leading centre for digital pathology and artificial intelligence (AI) on which a UK industrial sector can grow and thrive.

We are looking to appoint an experienced Programme Manager to oversee the operational delivery and business management of NPIC.  The appointee will need a strong background in project/programme management, ensuring reporting to project funders is carried out within set timescales, have experience of working in a complex multidisciplinary environment, and be able to build successful networks and collaborations across a complex range of stakeholders, including industry, academia, NHS and patients.

This role requires an individual who is driven, ambitious and passionate about improving patient care through the use of cutting-edge technology and who has a desire to play a key role enabling and disseminating global healthcare changing research at the highest level.

This post is initially for a fixed term until 31st December 2021.
