KTP Project Co-ordinator: University of Huddersfield

Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTPs) are of strategic importance to The University of Huddersfield and we have ambitious aims to grow our project portfolio. In order to support our academic schools to achieve their KTP targets, we are establishing a KTP Office and wish to appoint a KTP Project Coordinator to provide end-to-end project support in the delivery of KTPs, working collaboratively with a range of stakeholders.

In addition to facilitating effective and efficient KTP activity (from opportunity and application development through to ongoing project administration and project completion), the KTP Office will work proactively to promote the scheme to businesses, academics and students/graduates, working in partnership with our local Knowledge Transfer Adviser. The Office will be the central point of contact for all matters relating to KTP and will also represent the University at regional and national KTP meetings and events.

Educated to degree level, or equivalent, you will have direct experience working with businesses/external organisations and managing a range of stakeholder needs. You should also be able demonstrate your involvement in supporting a variety of projects. Experience supporting KTPs or other grant-funded projects would be beneficial but not essential.

If you are interested in this post, please review the recruitment pack and use the application form to explain how your knowledge, skills and experience meet both the essential and desirable criteria required for the role.
