We're recruiting a Knowledge Exchange Officer to support the Bloomsbury SET knowledge exchange programme, based at the Royal Veterinary College in London. Working alongside our partner Colleges, this varied and interesting post would suit someone with experience and understanding of knowledge exchange and research in higher education. Currently funded until summer 2022, this post joins a small team supporting delivery of a range of outputs related to the translation of research into innovative products, therapies and services.
‘The Bloomsbury SET Follow-On: A London-Liverpool Alliance to Combat the Threat from Infectious Disease and Antimicrobial Resistance’ brings together the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM), The Royal Veterinary College (RVC), SOAS University of London, the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine (LSTM) and industry. The RVC holds the funding from Research England (Connecting Capability Fund) for The Bloomsbury SET.
You will bring excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude to deliver expected outcomes of the programme. You will have a good understanding of Knowledge Exchange/Technology Transfer in the university sector, and the credibility to engage with, motivate and co-ordinate senior academics and professional services staff, senior representatives from industry, and other partners.
