Knowledge Exchange Coordinator: University of West London

The University of West London (UWL) has been named University of the Year for Student Experience in The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide 2021. The editor of the Guide has described UWL as “regularly among the top-performing universities’ and that we have ‘proved it is possible for a London-based institution to achieve outstanding levels of student satisfaction beyond other universities”. 

Over the last few years more than £150 million has been invested in our campus to create an inspiring social and learning environment for students. 

The Department 

This role will be based in the Research and Enterprise Operations Department, which is responsible for supporting the growth of research, knowledge exchange and commercial activity of the University. This is a dynamic team that has supported significant new activities over the last few years.

The Role 

The key focus of this role is providing a high level of support to a range of academic colleagues across the University and our key external partners, to develop new opportunities for the University uses its capabilities to contribute to the economic and social development of West London.  The post holder will support and develop UWL’s academic staff and assist in growing the volume and quality of UWL’s knowledge exchange and enterprise activity.  In particular, the post holder will coordinate UWL’s KTP activity.

The Person

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is extremely well organised and has a good eye for a developing new opportunity, and ensuring they are successfully delivered.  We are seeking someone who is highly effective and innovative to support the diverse work we do, both with a range of external partners and internal colleagues.  The ideal candidate will be able to both support developing new opportunities and their successful delivery.
