Knowledge Exchange Administrator Grade 5

We are seeking to appoint a Knowledge Exchange Administrator to work at the heart of partnership and innovation activity within the Consultancy and Innovation team in the Research, Partnerships and Innovation (RPI) Directorate. The post of Knowledge Exchange Administrator provides an exciting opportunity to support the development of the innovation and partnerships environment at the University of Liverpool working in a friendly team. You will act as first point of contact for Knowledge Exchange work, ensure enquiries get passed on to the correct member of staff, and provide routine administrative support for the Consultancy and Innovation team as well as the broader RPI team when needed, from overseeing budgets, through to organising and minuting of meetings, supporting the administration of bid applications and coordinating events and training. You will be a well organised independent worker, with an interest in university research and business engagement. You will have excellent administration, organisation and communication skills. You will be able to work across teams and have a high degree of flexibility with the ability to prioritise tasks. Excellent attention to detail is essential in this role. You will work with professional services colleagues in Faculties, Research Support Office, Research Partnerships and Development and Marketing and Communications. You will report to the Head of Consultancy and Innovation, and act as Personal Assistant to them. You will have 3 GCSEs at Grade C or above (or equivalent) including English Language, and will have excellent IT skills and relevant professional experience. This post is funded through an external grant and available on a fixed term contract until 31 July 2025 subject to funding. Flexible and part time working arrangements will be considered.
