IP and Innovation Manager ( Maternity Leave Role- Fixed Term 12 Months): Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust

We need to best people to be part of this hugely important entrepreneurial endeavour. We now have a Maternity Cover Post for a 1 year contract from September 2021 to drive the development of how we deliver new, impactful products and services in the Life Science healthcare commercialisation arena. We are looking for an experienced Intellectual Property (IP) professional who can demonstrate their understanding of the whole lifecycle of healthcare development, who has creativity, energy & essentially demonstrate well developed IP knowledge.

Key to these outcomes will be demonstrating value and revenue for Trust reinvestment to enhance the delivery of care and positive patient impact.

We would like to attract candidates who wish to develop their experience base in a thriving Academic Health Science Centre, with a significant breadth and depth of intellectual assets. This role will be at the forefront of both IP advice, delivery and Innovation Management. It is hands on and you will need to be confident communicating with healthcare teams at all levels and be very comfortable addressing wide ranging audiences for business proposals, training, online and face to face meetings.

This role is a Band 8a fixed term role for 12 months, depending on experience salary ranges from circa £52K pa (Agenda for Change)
