International Risk and Export Control Manager - QMUL25857: Queen Mary University of London

About the Role

Working with the pre-award team in the Joint Research Management Office, the post of International Risk and Export Control Manager will be required to build strategy, formulate policy and process to underpin Queen Mary’s compliance with export legislation and collaborations within the global context, and undertake a cross university review to ensure key areas have been identified and that appropriate measures or processes are in place to mitigate any risks identified. The role will interface with a wide range of people including the Global Engagement Office and Academic Registry, as well as HR and relevant Faculties.

About You

You will have relevant experience in export compliance roles and experience of implementing export control policy and process within an organization. You will be educated to degree level, with a legal qualification desirable.

The role of the Joint Research Management Office (JRMO) is to facilitate and enable research, supporting academics and clinicians and those that work with them across Queen Mary sites; helping them to conduct world-class research.

The post is based at Department W, Whitechapel, London. It is full time permanent appointment. The starting salary will be Grade 5, in the range of £38,655 - £45,479 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.
