The University of Huddersfield’s School of Computing and Engineering is currently recruiting for an Impact Support Officer. This is a new position which offers the post-holder an exciting opportunity to play a key role in maximising the impact of our School's research across all disciplines.
The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and delivering the School's research impact plan and supporting our submission to the next Research Excellent Framework (REF2021). You will also be responsible for assisting in the collection and preparation of data for internal and external evaluation purposes; in particular, to manage the collection, curation and submission of relevant documentary and/or statistical evidence in support of the impact of research projects.
With a degree or equivalent, you will ideally have experience of working in a research support environment within higher education, and a good understanding of the wider research policy environment, including the requirements of the Research Excellence Framework and the research impact agenda.
