Head of Space Research & Innovation Network for Technology Programme: University of Leicester

About the role
This role will draw on best practice in knowledge exchange, Innovation management and high growth business programmes. You will be responsible for delivering an impactful high quality offer to SMEs, high value research and innovation partnerships to HEIs and building the successful engagement of space primes and financiers in to the programme with the overall objective of positively impacting the economic growth from the space sector. You will be responsible for ensuring that the SPRINT programme is delivered successfully, to target and budget.
About you
With senior level management experience, you will have proven ability and experience of delivering complex funded programmes, ideally with experience in a HE environment. Experience of business development and knowledge exchange is key, alongside commercial acumen and experience. 
 
You will have the ability to build strong relationships with core stakeholders, business intermediaries and senior business owner managers. In addition, you will have a proven ability to deliver complex and customised flexible solutions to businesses across the region.
