Head of Knowledge Exchange and Commercialisation: The Royal Veterinary College

The Royal Veterinary College (RVC), part of the University of London, is looking to appoint as its new Head of Knowledge Exchange and Commercialisation a team member with specialist knowledge and expertise in intellectual property management in the university sector. This role will offer the opportunity to lead on a range of activities under the umbrella of RVC's knowledge exchange (KE) strategy, including the development of a stronger ecosystem to ensure the translation of intellectual property into new therapies, products and services for improving animal health and human health. 

 

Candidates must have experience in knowledge exchange in a university environment and a good understanding of best practice in partnership development. The post-holder will be expected to maintain their professional skills and understanding of new developments in KE and commercialisation through proactive involvement in networks, professional bodies and working groups, and will have opportunity to implement the knowledge thus gained by further developing the RVC’s commercialisation strategy and activities.
