We are looking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to provide overall leadership and managerial support for the Clinical School contracts team and its substantial research contract portfolio.
The role holder will lead and manage the School of Clinical Medicine contracts team, responsible for negotiating ~2000 research contracts annually.
The role holder will provide the Cambridge Research Office with specialist knowledge and expertise in the legislation, regulations and governance that is specifically relevant to clinical research in an academic context and will play a vital role in developing Cambridge Research Office policy and practice to ensure University understanding and compliance. The Clinical School has a strategic intent to increase its global health research, with several recent key academic appointments, which will bring additional complexity.

We are looking for a candidate educated to degree level or equivalent, with people management experience and significant experience in research contracts ideally in a university or clinical research organisation.
