Employability and Enterprise Projects Manager

This is an exciting new role created to work across the Careers & Employability and Enterprise teams at the university to maximise potential in our work with external partners.

Your role will be to create opportunities for our students, graduates and staff to engage with businesses and other employers, which is key to our aims and objectives to support the University in working towards our Brighton 2025 strategic goals. 

The Employability and Enterprise Projects Manager will work closely with both teams to map and integrate existing business/employer engagement mechanisms across the university.  As part of your role, you will join a cross-departmental team that networks with businesses and other employers to seek opportunities and create lasting relationships that bring benefits to our students, graduates and staff, and supports local, national and international businesses with new talent and knowledge exchange opportunities.  

In order to be successful in this post, you should bring with you:

Experience of building relationships and managing projects

Knowledge of the graduate labour market, higher education curriculum and key drivers for employability and knowledge exchange within the higher education sector

A track record of delivering results 

Strong communication skills, and the ability to identify and develop ideas to bring about strategic change.
