A brand new role is available at the University of Bristol for an Economic Development Manager.

The positive impact of universities on economic development is acknowledged by governments and £multi-million funding incentives have been put in place to encourage universities, businesses and local government to collaborate to grow competitive, innovative, and knowledge-intensive economic activity in their regions.

The purpose of the Economic Development Manager role at the University of Bristol is to secure new funding for innovation infrastructure through the development of business cases for large-scale value propositions to local and national government. You will be a member of the Impact Development team within the Research and Enterprise Division of the University.

You will be a member of the Impact Development team within the Research and Enterprise Division of the University.

 

You should apply if

 

You should have a good understanding of university – public sector partnerships and be able to demonstrate experience of creating and developing partnerships at scale that deliver funding. We are looking for expertise in identifying, applying for and securing funds, and delivery of funded projects. Direct experience of preparing successful Green Book “Five Business Cases” is essential.
