Research & Enterprise Office
It's an exciting time to join Loughborough University. From our 440 acre campus in Leicestershire and our postgraduate London campus on Queen Elizabeth Park, the University is enjoying a time of unprecedent achievement.
We are seeking a Consultancy Contracts Manager to join the Partnership Development Team within the Research and Enterprise Office. The Consultancy Contracts Manager will support the provision of consultancy services by the University to external clients. The post holder will deliver full project life cycle support - pre contract considerations (including quotations, costing and pricing, bidding for tenders), contract negotiation (including confidentiality agreements, service contracts and contract variations) and project completion (including invoicing and debt management).
The role involves direct liaison with academic colleagues and external clients, working alongside senior management when dealing with high-risk projects and to negotiate complex contracts. The successful candidate will be a confident and able communicator with the ability to build relationships, negotiate effectively, and communicate complex contracting and finance issues to a wide range of people. The ability to work in a close-knit team with a commitment to providing the highest standards of service is also essential.
This role is a full time position but, consideration will be given to applications for working part-time and/or job sharing.
