Collaboration Partner

This role is based within the Collaboration Development Team in the Research and Knowledge Exchange Office. The team work closely with academic colleagues and senior leaders to proactively support the development of collaborations that build on our research activities. 

The team support engagement with a range of stakeholders including SMEs, businesses, 3rd sector and community organisations with the goals of creating mutual benefit and value through funded knowledge exchange projects. 

Successful candidates will have demonstrable experience of securing new opportunities for income generation by developing collaborations between researchers and non-academic partners. The role requires excellent communication skills and a good understanding of how University expertise may be developed and utilised through a range of knowledge transfer activities.

Prior knowledge and experience in Life Sciences and Technology (including computing) would be an asset.
