  • Working with the Phenotyping Hub Director of Operations and associated staff to ensure the successful delivery of such services alongside the regular working of the Hub.

In addition, the role holder will be expected to identify and assist in the development of further business opportunities related to the research and work conducted within CITIID, as and when such opportunities arise.

Candidates will have a PhD, and ideally also have extensive research experience in immunology or associated fields. A proven record of working on technology transfer, marketing of technologies or scientific services, contract negation and intellectual property management will also be advantageous.

The role-holder will work within the recently opened Cambridge Institute of Therapeutic Immunology and Infectious Diseases (CITIID), based within the Department of Medicine. This is one of the largest departments in the University, comprising 600 staff, including 150 students and over 70 Professors, each involved in research related to human disease.
