Hi, I'm Simon!

I have the privilege of working internationally and with a wide variety of organisations.  My focus is helping leaders and managers develop their leadership and strategic thinking capability.  I’ve been doing this for over two decades (time flies, etc).  Some of my consulting clients have been focused KE organisations and others have had KE as part of their remit or business model.  I’ve very much appreciated the opportunity to learn from these clients.

I’m a director/investor in an online business aimed at supporting management consultants develop strong consulting businesses.  I’m working with two recognised thought leaders in the field – it’s proving an engaging journey in helping present the insight and IP in a way that’s valuable to our target market.  Also, travel restrictions permitting – I compete in mountain bike races dressed in a leopard print morph suit, and I ride a bike with one gear. 

I think every workshop facilitator and trainer will echo this.  I always learn from the people I work with and I really enjoy helping people augment and develop their existing skills.  

This is fresh in my mind… it happened fifteen minutes ago.  One of my workshop participants dropped me a message to say she had passed with distinction the Institute of Director’s exams in company direction.  I taught her on one of the four ‘Certificate in Company Direction’ modules.  She owns a consulting enterprise focusing on diversity and I’m confident that her practical application of what she’s learned about leadership and strategy will help equip her towards further business success.  It’s a small example, but these instances help reinforce to me the practical value of what we cover.
