SHEDTalk with guest speaker Alicia Greated from Knowledge Transfer Network.

Dr Alicia Greated joined Innovate UK’s Knowledge Transfer Network (KTN) as its CEO in late 2019. She was previously Director of Research and Enterprise at Heriot-Watt University and has extensive experience of leading research and innovation funding in the UK and overseas. At the KTN, her focus is on linking businesses, universities, funders and investors to create new opportunities and impact from the research base. Sean will be asking Alicia to reflect on her first few months at the KTN – how challenges have changed as a result of COVID-19 but also what challenges remain the same - and what she sees as the strengths and weaknesses of the UK’s innovation system.
