NHS etc.\, research institutes to put research agreements in place for collaborations & ndash\; so to be skilled at reviewing\, setting up and managing research contracts are key skills to ensure the projects are delivered\, understanding how these agreements work enable such agreements to be put in place more efficiently. \; \; Creating and managing these (sometimes complex) co llaborative relationships between organisations ca n often prove challenging and frustrating.\n \n Wh at will I learn from the course?\n \n \n \n That the research contracts you deal with are structur ed and laid out in a way which is easy to read and understand and which ensures that express terms a re enforceable (compliant with the fundamental req uirements of contract law in England and Wales.&nb sp\;\n \n \n Understanding of the significance of boilerplate terms and be able to negotiate chan ges appropriate to individual research contracts.& nbsp\;\n \n \n Be able to critically assess ins tructions received from a researcher\; (They shoul d be risk aware but not risk averse\, and understa nd that risk can never be fully eliminated\; only managed).\n \n \n Awareness of the model agreem ents available for both academia\, clinical and bu siness\; under stand the impact of your position on others\; comm unicate effectively with other departments\; be as sertive when required\, to push the position as ne eded\; gain confidence in influencing skills.  \;\n \n \n \n The course also focuses on networki ng\, providing a valuable platform to meet peers\, discuss best practice\, and interact with the cou rse team and other contributors.\n \n  \;\n \n PLEASE NOTE: There may be a requirement for deleg ates to undertake some pre-course work/reading bef ore the course begins CATEGORIES:Digital CALSCALE:GREGORIAN DTSTAMP;VALUE=DATE-TIME:20210914T090000 DTSTART;VALUE=DATE-TIME:20210914T090000 DTEND;VALUE=DATE-TIME:20210924T130000 URL:https://www.praxisauril.org.uk/civicrm/event/info?reset=1&id=421 END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR
